Kaspersky Anti-Virus Update: Latest Kaspersky virus databases

This is a special update application to install the latest virus databases and various fixes.
Use this also if you already have AntiViral Toolkit Pro installed.

Updating antivirus databases is of maximum importance and you must perform this action on a regular basis to ensure continuous and optimal protection for your PC. You need to have the latest virus definition files for your Kaspersky Anti-Virus or it will not be able to detect newer and more complex viruses. For this reason we release updates every hour, to keep users protected against the latest malicious programs. Kaspersky Lab offers antivirus solutions not only for detecting malware but other programs which are a threat such as:

- Adware
- Remote administration programs
- Utilities which can be used by malicious programs or users

Daily - contains all updates and modifications released during the current week. The current week starts from the previous Friday, when the last weekly update was released. It is placed on the update server every hour. You should download daily.zip if you update your antivirus databases at least once a week.

Complete update - contains all the updates and modifications released at the time of the previous week's update. This is placed on the server at the same time as the new weekly.zip. You should download this file if you have not updated your antivirus databases in the last two weeks.

Important notice!! Kaspersky decided to stop offering their offline solution on updating the virus database, you have to do this manually from the software.
