Mercurial is a quick lightweight source control management system that will handle large distributed projects.

Mercurial is a command-line application, but you can use a GUI extension if you need a user interface. Mercurial is a tool designed to provide powerful handing of binary and plain text files, optimal performance, scalability and a distributed, decentralized collaborative development.

The program must be run from the Windows command prompt.
