MixPad is a small tool that allows you to easily mix audio tracks using a robust set of tools, but also to edit them by applying effects, record and merge clips, cut parts of an audio file and other useful actions.
The application has a straightforward layout, and you can quickly create a new project which can contain one or multiple audio tracks. Each track has its own collection of controls, including record, volume, live effects, mute, audio options and pan.
Also, MixPad can be used to record new tracks, load existing clips and video files, split a clip into several smaller files and merge multiple clips into a single one.
Export options allow you to save any of your projects to a MP3, OGG, FLAC, WAV, RAW, AAC or AMR file, although it is also possible to burn the data to a CD.
