Mobile Atlas Creator is a free application that lets you design atlases for TrekBuddy. The program has built-in support for lots of mobile apps and GPS handhelds, such as TrekBuddy, AndNav, RMaps, Mobile Trail ExplorerMaverick, BigPlanetTW, OSMTracker, Magellan RMP, CacheBox, Touratech, OziExplorer and more.

Features:

- Allows you to create atlases with multiple layers and various map sources and resolutions.
- You can save/load your created atlases as profile to or from file.
- Drag and drop support is enabled for merging layers.
- Map tiles can be created with user-defined size and image format (JPG and PNG formats are supported).
- Map tiles can be downloaded quickly using multithreaded download (the user can set the number of threads).
- Downloaded map tiles are locally cached so the program will only download updated tiles and the locally cached ones for when there are no updates.
- Network connections using HTTP proxy is supported.
