Muster is a render farm management application that enables you to batch process digital imagery for game, film production, visual effects and other graphic uses.

The program lets you render custom CGI which can blend flawlessly into game development projects and movies with special effects. To create a rendering queue you will need to log in on the dispatcher service.

Muster’s Settings window lets you configure the dispatcher service’s behaviors. There, you can customize the parameters it should use to separate the rendering instances you are launching at the same time.

On top of that, the up can be set to re-queue tasks if instances are offline, plus you can define the maximum number of jobs for the dispatcher to run. The program makes it possible to define pools using a certain subset of hosts and instances for a specific job.

When rendering multiple projects, the usage of resources assigned to a certain job or user can be limited.
