Obeo Designer Community is a complex application that lets you build advanced graphical models such as diagrams, customized to fit the requirements for your business. The program is based on a number of components like Sirius and Eclipse that power its ability to generate complex charts.

It also uses other smaller components like EMF models merging tools and textual editing utilities. Advanced users can also insert Java snippets and for this purpose, the tool offers a built-in ‘run and debug’ module.

You can create, customize and load multiple classes into your project. Obeo Designer Community is capable of generating watchpoints and breakpoints, also providing object inspection commands and the possibility to define Java exceptions.

There are numerous customization options, among which you’ll find the ability to generate comprehensive graphs that include custom shapes, connectors and layers. Furthermore, the application lets you create conditional filters on diagrams, a simple way to hide specific chart elements.
