Offline Map Maker: A reliable application that lets you download maps provided by Google, Bing, Yahoo!, or OpenStreetMap with a a built-in map viewer

Offline Map Maker is a small and friendly application that lets you download map images for offline access from well known services like Google, Bing, Yahoo! and OpenStreetMap. The simple UI is very easy to use, even for inexperienced users.

To get some map images simple enter a name for the current download task and choose which provide you want to get the images from. Offline Map Maker currently supports Google Street Maps, Bing Satellite Maps and Bing Hybrid Maps.

Furthermore, users can configure the zooming parameters, enter the left and right longitude/top and bottom latitude, choose the saving directory and see the number of downloaded images. You can choose a default save directory, access to log, set proxy parameters and convert degrees, minutes and seconds to degrees.

The tool can retry to download failed items and you can use the built-in viewer to open the maps you downloaded. There’s also a full screen mode with options to zoom in/out and merge the maps to BMP files.
