PDQ Deploy: A speedy tool that lets you remotely install applications and deploy multiple updates on other PCs

PDQ Deploy is a lightweight, fast application that was designed to simplify managing multiple workstations connected to the same network or Active Directory domain. This is usually an intricate task and system administrators are already busy enough maintaining all the computers in various aspects.

The application has an incredibly intuitive interface with nicely organized options that are also easy to access. It bundles a comprehensive library of downloadable packages you can install on workstations, but you can also create your own custom packages and keep them prepared for deployment.

From the library you can distribute updates for several runtimes, IM clients, document handling applications and other types of software across the network.
PDQ Deploy also provides a variety of uninstallers you can use to remove all leftover traces of apps that leave such files, folders and registry entries behind. To deploy a specific package you must first select the target list, though making one is extremely easy. To choose the workstations you can use Active Directory, Spiceworks or PDQ Inventory systems, and you can also use an existing list or a text file that includes all needed data.

All deployments are performed in real time and the tasks carry out flawlessly as long as the remote machines are set to receive updates and allow installation. Furthermore, you can easily automate deployment tasks using the built-in scheduler.
