PS Remote Play: Remotely access and control your PlayStation 4 console from your computer and play PS4 games from the desktop

PS4 Remote Play is a robust piece of software that enables you to remotely access and control your PlayStation 4 console from your computer and play your favorite PS4 games from the comfort of your desktop.

The computer and the gaming console must be connected to the same network. In this case, the application will automatically detect the PS4 console.

From the Settings screen, PS4 Remote Play enables you to configure the PS4 console, which is needs to be performed before you set up remote access. This means you will need to enable the PS4’s Remote Play function, and enable the system as the primary PS4.

The console needs to be in ‘Rest’ mode for remote access to be available and you will also need a DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller. For the application to work, a Sony Entertainment Network account is required as well.

After the connection is enabled you will be able to remotely access your PlayStation console from your computer, and start playing PS4 games that support remote play.
