Phototheca X: A lightweight application that lets you easily sort images in different folders

Phototheca is a small piece of software designed with a friendly, and simple interface where you can quickly organize your photos in different folders. Once you select the photos you want to process with the tool, you can create custom albums, build albums and events, search for duplicate items and add keywords to your photos.

An interesting and also useful feature of Phototheca is its ability to encrypt sensitive data into a password-protected Safe Panel. Moreover, the Timeline section shows all events, you can access the last items you’ve imported or flagged, use the built-in search function, create slideshows, assign a cover photo for the current albums as well as merge albums.

The application allows you to set the current images as your desktop wallpaper, send photos to the Safe Panel, rotate and flag images, and the list goes on.

Lastly, you should know images can be edited using a third-party application, deleted items can be restored from the Trash panel and you can easily created events from flagged images.
