Pictor: Portable image editor with advanced and intuitive options

Pictor is an easy-to-use image editor that's packed with advanced features and options and probably more important, it's free to use. The software is entirely portable, meaning it can be copied to any external device such as a USB drive and use it without the need to install it on any system.

The application can manage all the popular image files such as PNG, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, GIF etc but sadly (and one of its biggest drawbacks probably), it cannot use RAW files of any kind. Saving any edited image can be done only to PNG, TIFF, BMP and JPEG formats, which is another thing that you need to keep in mind when using this piece of software.

The interface is very easy to use, intuitive and through menus and its simplicity, displays all its main options with just a few clicks. You can do all the basic image editing functions, such as rotate, erase or resize or apply any of the predefined filters already present within the app.

Pictor is a very promising app and while it has its shortcomings, it has its own community and the developer promised more features in the upcoming version changes. We recommend downloading and trying the software out, you might enjoy it.
