PixiShot: A friendly image editing and management software supporting numerous formats

The program lets you select a ‚home folder’ – this is going to be your default photos folder. However, you can also browse your computer’s folders and search for more image files. Allmost all types of images that are stored in your directories will have a thumbnail preview displayed, for which you can adjust the size if you want to.

The images can be sorted by filename, but also filtered using a number of criteria. Furthermore you can compare 2 to 4 images, as well as import photos from a memory card. PixiShot comes with a Viewer mode for previewing selected images and viewing EXIF data if available.

Users can edit the IPTC fields, thus add descriptions, titles, keywords, copyright infrmation and other types of data to their images. The program includes a collection of presets for optimizing image quality, but also offers the possibility to create custom ones.

Among the configurable options of a preset you will find the color tone curve, white balance but also options to sharpen or straighten photos.
