Portable CintaNotes: A simple personal notes manager that can help you keep your ideas organized

The easiest way to keep your ideas, notes, reminders and to-do lists organized and easily accessible is by using a specialized application like Portable CintaNotes. This piece of software is lightweight and portable, thus you can run it from external storage devices (USB flash drives included) and take it with you anywhere.

The application lets you give your notes unique titles, but also add relevant tags to them that can make it easier to find specific items. URLs can be assigned to notes as well, and in that case a shorctut will be shown next to their title which lets you open that web page in your default browser.

Besides giving tags to your notes, Portable CintaNotes lets you store them in custom categories, each displayed in a separate tabs and even set different background colors for them. Furthermore, you can sort notes from a specific category by title, size or creation date as well as using the search form.

Adding new notes is possible using two methods: you can open the Edit pane and use the New Note option available there, or use the Insert key on your keyboard, the latter way being the fastest. The application offers keyboard shortcuts for the majority of its features, including edit, export and tag, to speed up and simplify the included operations.
