Ren'Py is a reliable visual novel development kit that was developed in order to enable users to put their stories in motion, by offering them all the necessary tools for the job.

The program comes with all that users need in order to start creating a project, and also provides them with a tutorial to understand how the engine works.

When starting the project, they will need to name it, select a folder where everything they need will be generated and placed, pick the accent colors, select the necessary preferences, and they are pretty much ready to go.

The launcher will also provide them with the ability to access and edit all the files, and the first file in the Edit section is called scripty.rpy, where they will add their game script, and declare the characters of their story, among many more.
