Shutter Lite: A multifunctional shutdown utility

Shutter is a free, versatile shutdown tool that is easy to use for anyone and supports a large number of Events and Actions.

Besides the simple message notifications, Shutter can also play a custom sound and/or run a program of your choice. Moreover, you have the option to create Shell Links and immediately execute from the desktop any of the supported actions.

The Web Interface allows Remote Execution of any Action and displays run-time info about the computer: Logged In User, Up Time, List of Processes, Screenshot of a Desktop and Command Line Execution.

Shutdown Events supported by Shutter: Countdown, On Time, Low CPU Usage, Battery Low, Winamp Stops, User Inactive.

Shutdown Actions supported by Shutter: Shutdown, Reboot, LogOff, Lock Workstation, Sleep, Hibernate, Monitor Turn Off, Alarm.
