SigcheckGUI
1.1.3 Build 1SigcheckGUI: A small tool designed as a GUI for Sysinternals' Sigcheck
SigcheckGUI is a simple utility that provides an alternative graphical interface for the Sigcheck tool by Sysinternals. This way you can easily check the digital signatures of executable files but also related information such as their internal name, version number and copyright. After you download and extract the archive, simply run the executable file since the tool is portable (no setup is needed). You can load a folder or an individual EXE file into the app via its ‘File’ menu. To scan all running processes, all you need to do is use the related option. Then, the application will list the results in its interface and you can export them as a CSV file.
SigcheckGUI automatically analyzes the loaded EXE for each loaded item and detects if it has a digital signature. However, the application also displays a wealth of details regarding the verified entry such as its copyright, original name, product version and publisher among others.
Loaded entries also have a context menu, accessible via a right-click. There, you can use the ‘Info Box’ option to display the executable’s properties nicely sorted in a dedicated window. Another useful option is ‘Web Search for Process’ that will search information about the executable file using popular search engines like Google and Bing.
