SoundSwitch: A simple utility that lets you easily switch between your playback devices using a hotkey

SoundSwitch is a functional Windows tool that allows you to easily switch between the playback devices connected to your system via a custom hotkey.

You can choose the preferred sound card by pressing the dedicated keyboard shortcut.

Normally, you can switch between playback devices via the system tray sound icon’s context menu or from the Control Panel. With SoundSwitch the process is much faster, as all you need to do is press a hotkey.

The app runs in the background but you do need to set up the hotkey. To open the Settings window you can right-click on the app’s system tray icon. There, you can define the hotkey and also uncheck the devices you don’t plan on using, so you can switch only between the ones you’re interested in.

The keyboard shortcut can contain two or three keyboard keys which you will need to press at the same time. The app will automatically detect available sound cards.
