Submerge: Watch movies with subtitles in iTunes and on Apple TV

Submerge is a friendly application that lets you watch subtitled movies on Apple TV and in iTunes, as well as within the program itself in full screen.

The application merges subtitle files with your movie files which results in a file that contains audio, video and subtitles. The movies created with Submerge are also playable on your iPhone, iPod and in Front For.

Submerge can add subtitles to a variety of video files such as AVI, MP4 and MOV among others. It also supports popular subtitle formats such as SUB, SRT and MicroDVD.

Among other useful options, the application can force the aspect ratio to 4:3 or 16:9, as well as merge multiple movie files.
