SunVox is a reliable audio editing, recording, and mixing application among others out there, that sports a different approach and is based more on synthesizers and effects.

The program comes with a pretty cumbersome interface that has all the needed functions a couple of clicks away and will let users start from a built-in example to see how it should be used.

It comes with a great synthesizer namely DrumSynth, which is bundled with the utility and is accompanied by a varied assortment of effects like Echo, reverb, flanger, but there’s also an FM Synthesizer in the package and a sampler that will help users load audio files in WAV, AIFF or XI formats.

The program also puts a 3 band equalizer at the user's disposal (e.g. distortion tool, a vocal filter that emulates human voice, and a synthesizer for atmospheric sounds).

To sum it up, SunVox is a very reliable tool that is well equipped for everything it was designed to do, the only downside is its cumbersome and hard-to-understand interface.
