TonCut is a cutting optimization software tool that can generate layouts and patterns optimized for minimum waste helping you save on material costs.

To provide the best results, TonCut can rely on multiple factors allowing you to create configuration profiles suitable for various products and types of material.

You can quickly add new pieces to the list once you enter their width, length, and quantity, as well as any kind of ornaments and other material details that should be kept intact.

Among the customizable parameters, users can allow edge cuts, define a minimal distance between two cuts, set the maximum accepted waste size and a maximum number of combinations that should be tried. Also, you can limit the time needed to optimize a sheet.

TonCut can use two different optimization methods – the forking method which searches for better solutions for the first sheet, and adaptive optimization that repeats the search process taking previous results into account.
