TreeSize Free: A simple tool that can analyze a folder's structure and offers comprehensive information about occupied disk space

TreeSize Free is a friendly utility that can analyze the structure of your computer’s folders and provides thorough information about used disk space. This way you can easily see which files and folders take up the most space on your hard drive – an essential part of cleaning and managing your data.

The application can be installed normally, or as a portable tool. Using the latter option will allow you to run the executable directly from your local hard drive or from a removable drive, without modifying the system Registry in any way.

In the program’s interface you’ll be able to see your files shown in a tree structure, in descending order from largest to smallest in size. Holding the mouse cursor over a certain file will show a ton of related information such as its size, folder, permissions, dates for creation and last modification, path length, full path, allocated size, number of size and so on.

In the current application, users can open new instances, but also scan specific directories or folumes, print reports, sort by size or by name, as well as switch between various viewing modes. During scanning you can view error messages if any occur.

TreeSize Free can be customized in a number of ways as it lets you select colors for the size indicator in the folders background, use the option to force the scan to run in a single thread, create a filter to include only specific file formats and many others.
