Tribler: An intuitive tool providing simplified file sharing capabilities anyone can use

Tribler is a straightforward tool that makes it extremely easy to download and share any type of file. With file sharing being an essential function required in this technology-driven era, specialized software solutions are required to ensure optimal transfer speeds as well as security and Tribler delivers both.

The streamlined interface lets you quickly access frequently used areas of the program via a side panel. The application doesn’t connect you to the download source, but to a relay point which allows fetching of data packets while another connection does the same using a different source. This ensures your IP cannot be tracked and relies on UDP over TCP protocols.

You can search for .torrent files directly inside the program using the built-in search, which also provides various filters, including a slider for setting the maximum or minimum file size. The results show related information for each file such as its health, type, size and a dedicated Download button.

Furthermore, Tribler comes with a useful function that shows all the users connected to the same service as you are and user created channels with files available for download. You can also monitor newly added files by bookmarking your favorite channels but also create custom channels. The latter option can be achieved by choosing a .torrent file and share it or create new ones using your own files.

Lastly, the app lets you tweak various settings for enhanced anonymity, playlist management and shared file list sorting.
