UltraFileSearch Std: A lightweight application that allows you to quickly search files, folders and text

With UltraFileSearch you can easily find files, folders and text stored on your local and local network hard drives, partitions, CDs, DVDs and USB flash drives.

The functional layout lets you enter the file name you are searching for, select the partition or drive that should be scanned during the search operation and preview the search results. You can also sort the list of results by file and folder properties.

Files can be searched using various criteria such as specific words, phrases, date and size, plus you can set the app to ignore various types of files, such as audio, video and image files. For easy access, UltraFileSearch integrates into the Windows Explorer context menu, from where you can quickly launch a search for the selected folder.

The program can also calculate the size of the selected folder and the items displayed in the results list are accompanied by size and output format. What’s more, the program is very resource-friendly since it doesn’t rely on background indexing.

Advanced search filters include support for long path names and Unicode characters, thus you can use additional search paths and file name masks for more accurate results. The results list can be exported as HTML or TXT file.
