VIRUSfighter comes with a real-time scanner that tracks all accessed files, e-mail attachments and downloads to detect and remove threats. It also provides on-demand scans, with two different methods to choose from.

You can use the Quick Scan for a fast scan job although the Full Scan option should also be used regularly for a more thorough system checkup.

Should any threats be detected, they will automatically be quarantined and there’s also an option to create a custom whitelist for trusted files.
