VeriCad is small, quick, user friendly tool that provides all the essentials for creating a perfect mechanical design. It comes fully loaded with many features and functions and it is quite affordable.

VariCAD is a small yet complex system that has contains features and options for 3D modeling and 2D drawing and editing. There is an optional support for parameters and geometrical constraints. Functions for shells modeling, pipelines and wires are available as well.

VariCAD can perform different crash tests and interferences. Your designs can be presented as 3D assemblies or as groups. There are functions for surface development and sheet metal unbending.

Many mechanical part and symbol libraries are built-in into the system. Various calculations of 3D objects or 2D sections can be performed. BOM and Title blocks are supported as well. The system has full support for Unicode.

Multilingual support is available and supported languages are English, German, Portuguese, Japanese and Chinese.

In order to exchange data and information VariCAD is using STEP, STL, IGES, DWG and DXF file formats.

VariCAD is available for Windows and Linux operating systems. Supported Windows versions are Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. Both 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows are supported.
Recommended distributions of Linux, both 32 and 64 bit are Ubuntu, Kubuntu, openSUSE and Debian. However, VariCAD will probably work and function normally on a wide range of Linux distributions.
