Find out the HEX, DEC, HSV, HLS, and RGB color codes of the color under your mouse cursorWhatColor is a lightweight application that allows you to easily pick any color shown on your screen by holding your mouse cursor over it and get the HEX, RGB, DEC, HSV and HLS color values, as well as the color’s name.
You can switch between the default, full or compact mode views. The latter only shows a small preview, the name and the code of the color.
WhatColor will instantly display the HEX, decimal, HLS, and HSV codes for the selected color, as well as its actual name. You can also use the customizable zoom panel so you can select the color more accurately.
Also, you can enable the dither processing that blends all the colors in a certain region. Even more, the full mode displays a color wheel and you can customize the application from its Settings panel.
The Settings area lets you change the zoom level, select the color codes that should be displayed, set WhatColor to run in the system tray as well as make it automatically start at system boot.
You can also define a hotkey to copy the code value to the Windows clipboard and enable voice to have the name of the color spoken.
