Monitors your CPU's speed, temperature and load, as well as app and kernel responsiveness, warning you when certain limits are exceeded

WhySoSlow is a robust piece of software designed to monitor your computer's hardware and notify you when the CPU temperature exceeds a custom threshold, as well as when other hardware-related events occur.

The main purpose of this application is to provide as many details about your hardware as possible to help you identify any possible reasons that might lower your computer's performance. WhySoSlow bundles some additional tools that will allow you to end currently running processes, and generate reports of your system status.

The application runs in the system tray from where you can access its configuration panel. It automatically monitors your computer's CPU speed, load, and temperature, app and kernel responsiveness, and memory load. On top of that, it keeps track of hard pagefaults, displaying the current, average, minimum, and maximum values.

A dedicated pane displays your PC's name, Windows version, and hardware information such as CPU name, speed, and model, number of processors, total RAM, system drive capacity, and full path to the page files. Users can easily customize alarms and keyboard shortcuts.

You can set WhySoSlow to perform a system analysis and generate a report. The AntiFreeze Task Manager provides access to a list of all active processes and you can manually end specific ones. The program also offers easy access to several frequently used Windows features, such as the task manager, power configuration, event viewers, disk defragmenter, and program uninstaller.
