Zip Password: A very handy tool if you need to recover lost passwords

If you find yourself unable to open a ZIP archive because you forgot the password or lost it, we recommend using Zip Password, a tool that uses various decryption algorithms that comes in handy in these types of situations.

Zip Password is compatible with ZIP, ZIPX, and EXE files, on the other hand, the tool can only recover passwords from archives that are protected by AES-128, 192 or 256, or ZIP 2.0 encryptions and unfortunately, other methods do not work. (e.g. ZIP files that use the ZipCrypto algorithm is not supported and you will receive a "not a password-protected archive" message.

Since it different attack methods, it will queue up more than one in case one of them doesn't work, and it will keep switching between them until it succeeds.

Another feature that Zip Password comes with is Brute-force decryption, and what it does is, tries to combine alphabetical and alphanumerical characters to create a word of a certain length, and if needed, it removes duplicates from the list.
