Helps you type faster by replacing abbreviations with user-defined phrases

aText is a handy application for Mac systems that can help you type faster – even if you’re skilled and experienced at typing. The program lets you define abbreviations for any phrase or text you’re frequently using.

Once you assigned an abbreviation to a piece of text simply write it while you type (in any application) and the full text will appear instead. For example you can set „tyvm” to be the shortcut for „Thank you very much.”.

aText also comes equipped with other useful features like the ability to insert current date and time (in all formats) as well as the contents of your clipboard, embed a snippet into another, insert editable fields and more!
