1.2.0.4addLEDs: Displays the status of the Caps Lock, Num Lock and Scroll Lock keys in the systray, providing information on network and disk activity
addLEDs is an application that can display the status of Num Lock, Caps Lock, and Scroll lock. It can come in handy if your keyboard's keys are faulty or lacks the LED indicators that normally show the status of the aforementioned keys. The program runs in the system tray and also provides capabilities for monitoring network activity and the disk. There is no setup included as addLEDs is portable and you simply need to double-click the executable to launch it.
All LEDs are enabled at startup by default. All five new icons will be accessible from the systray, specifically Caps Lock, Num Lock, and Scroll Lock (green when active, red when inactive), as well as network and disk activity. You can click on the related icon to toggle the LED status on and off as needed.
Regarding customization options, addLEDs enables you to choose between various icon colors, such as transparent, black and white, blue and red, green, and blue, green, and red. The icon destinations can be customized as well. For example, you can choose to associate an icon with Num Lock instead of Caps Lock.
Last but not least, it's possible to hide specific icons, enable sound, increase or decrease the network LED, and set the program to automatically launch when Windows starts.
