Avast! Antivirus features iAVS, a fast automatic update based on Internet connection. New virus definitions are released at least twice a week.

The Virus Definitions are used for Avast Free Antivirus and Avast Premium Security.

Avast! updates automatically if your computer is connected to the Internet. Download and install Avast Virus Definitions only if your computer doesn’t have Internet access to ensure you have the latest antivirus protection.

Installing is simple, just run the definitions file and the antivirus will update.
