mRemoteNG: An advanced remote connection session manager that features a multi-tabbed interface, facilitating access to multiple connections at once

mRemoteNG is a robust application that allows you to start and manage remote connections via a friendly tabbed graphical layout.

The program was designed as a fork of mRemote, a project which is no longer available. However, mRemoteNG has additional features and provides full support for managing remote connections. Support is provided for numerous types of protocols, such as HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, Telnet, rlogin, ICA, RDP, and Raw Socket among others.

Multiple connections can be accessed in an organized manner thanks to the tabbed UI and you can control the connections from a feature-rich sidebar. To make a new connection you need to enter a name, hostname, and IP, domain, protocol, and login credentials if such is the case.

It's also possible to create categories and assign connections to different folders. A live connection will show the screen of the remotely controlled workstation and provides access to all of its resources.

Among other interesting features bundled in mRemoteNG you will find a SSH file transfer tool that allows you to move files between hosts, and a port scanner which can display the ports that are open or closed.
