Audovia: A music creation tool for professionals equipped with a large collection of sounds

Most music creation software let you insert loops and then edit them until you’re satified with the result.

Audovia is a tool that offers a different approach to writing and creating music. The application requires at least basic knowledge about writing music as it can specify notes by MIDI value or by name and octave.

Creating a song in Audovia is not so intuitive compared to similar applications. Firstly, you’ll have to create a template and create a new desktop shortcut so you’ll be able to access the database. If you’re having problems with the application, you should know it comes with comprehensive documentation to get you started.

The application creates sounds using the Gervill synthesizer and it lets you import your own soundbanks if you’re not satisfied by the default one. New projects can be added from the songs form window, and customizing their information is as easy as editing cells in an Excel spreadsheet. You can also one-click edit the data strings and patterns that form the track.
