MyPaint: An intuitive image editing application that lets you easily drawings or edit the photos stored on your computer

MyPaint is a lightweight application with cross-platform support that bundles numerous editing tools that allow you to create drawings as well as edit images you have stored on your hard disk.

Thanks to the clean working environment available in MyPaint’s interface, users can master the application quickly and focus just on their drawing tasks with minimal distractions.

The application offers various types of brushes, a palette from where you can change their colors and customizable hue, saturation and value. Furthermore, there are various parameters that can be tweaked to change the opacity, speed and color of the brush.

Among the basic editing options included in MyPaint, there’s the ability to zoom in/out of images and drawings, flip and/or rotate them, support for multiple layers, selecting a background image from the built-in templates or using a background color instead.

To efficiently perform actions, the program provides hotkeys that you can reassign as needed. Furthermore, you can revert to previous states using the undo button and copy output images to the Clipboard or export them.
