Not My Fault: Intentionally cause system crashes by simulating a memory leak, stack overflow, IRQL fault or Deadlock

Not My Fault is a piece of software that allows you to study unexpected errors or test your apps by simulating system crashes. The tool offers a large number of methods for making your OS hang or crash.

As a result, you can simulate a stack or buffer overflow, double free or stack trash, hardcoded breakpoint or a high IRQL fault in Kernel or user mode.

The code overwrite crash option needs to be used with care, since it may write the corrupted memory to disk and cause data loss.

The hand and leak mode can be used to test a system tweak, cleaning app or an SDK. To keep the application open during a test, Hanging with IRP or Deadlock can be used. Furthermore, Not My Fault lets you simulate leaks of paged and nonpaged pool memory, and the leak parameters can be customized.
