RealPopup: A simple messaging client that lets you chat with others across local area networks

RealPopup is a friendly and small tool that enables you to easily send and receive messages from other users that are connected to your local area network.

The program resides in the system tray and lets you bring up the main window, set a status message and access its options from the tray icon’s context menu. You will also see a popup every time a user comes online.

The built-in network browser allows you to see all connected peers from where you can select a user to start a conversation.

To receive messages the other users will also need to have RealPopup installed, or at least another supported listener. You can set the tool to notify you when you receive a new message by playing a sound and opening a popup window.
