UNetbootin is a program that was designed in order to allow you to install a wide variety of Linux/BSD distributions to a USB drive or partition. The difference between this kind of install and a standard install is nothing more than the CD. With this software, you can either create a dual-boot install or you can opt to replace your existing OS entirely. If you do a lot of work on or with your computer, this is definitely a great program to have on hand at your disposal.
