fx-Calc: A useful and incredibly complex scientific calculator

fxCalc is a free scientific calculator application that can perform complex mathematical tasks and also offers graphic representations of the results. From a basic-looking calculator window you can calculate custom functions, sumps and products.

The application is a more advanced alternative to the default Windows calculator. It allows you to analyze and solve scientific functions and perform linear regression, on top of its calculation and vizualization capabilities. It also lets you open multiple windows at the same time to easily compare results.

Among it’s best features, fxCalc offers definition and instant calculation of functions with up to 5 variables, equation solving, function analysis along with graphic representation of the result, interactive Newton iteration, tangent calculation, parametric sum and product calculation among others.

The tool bundles a function library and a library for scientific constants. It’s capable of generating 2D and 2D parametric function plus, as well as OpenGL accelerated 3D function plots. You can open multiple plot and analysis windows, as to easily compare various function characteristics.

Furthermore, fxCalc includes an interactive linear regression module, automated history, built-in examples, syntax highlighting as well as the ability to show the current memory value in a separate field.
