AirDroid is a useful piece of software that lets you access and manage your Android device from your computer’s desktop via a wireless connection. This will enable you to easily transfer files, read and replay to SMS messages, view your call list and more!

You have to install AirDroid on your computer and Android device as well, so the connection can be enabled. You’ll also have to log in using your personal email address and password on both AirDroid apps.

AirDroid offers AirMirror – a feature that not only enables remote control of your Android device, but can also send notifications on your desktop and let you perform various actions on your computer like launching apps and replying to messages. Your data is protected and inaccessible by third-parties via End-to-End encryption.

There’s also a ‘Find my phone’ option that when enabled it can help you locate your Android phone or tablet on a map, erase data remotely, set it to play a sound or lock the device – very useful when your phone gets lost or stolen.
