Most backup tool let you save an entire hard drive or partition, but not many provide the fine-grained customization offered by CloneApp.

CloneApp is a powerful and flexible backup utility that lets you save individual files and folders, registry items and configuration files.

You can see currently installed applications and shortcuts to common folders like My Pictures and My Documents in the main window.

Via the Import Plug-in feature you can select specific items, and the Custom option allows you to load an individual file or directory, as well as Registry entries you wish to back up. You can see a history of actions performed in a log file automatically generated by CloneApp.
