An efficient duplicate finder tool that can detect duplicates on local hard disks, networks and NAS storage devices

Dup Scout Pro is a streamlined utility that lets you quickly search and find duplicate files on a variety of storage devices, including your local hard drives and network connected workstations.

The plain and functional interface lets you define the locations where the app should search for duplicates. As a result, you can choose from folders, all local disks, all servers on the network and servers & NAS devices.

Search jobs can be refined by ignoring specific folders and/or subfolders and once a task is finished, you can view the duplicate files in a list which can be sorted by type, creation time, file size and other parameters.

Then, you can perform a variety of actions on the duplicates such as replacing them with hard links or shortcuts, moving them to a specific folder, deleting or compressing them and the list goes on. The program lets you add locations to custom ignore lists to be excluded from the search.

Regarding the app’s settings, Dup Scout Pro can be set to automatically turn itself off once a task is completed, use recursive detection and allows you to create custom keyboard shortcuts for common actions.
