Echosync: An effective application that lets you perform file backup and differential data synchronization

Echosync is a free application that lets you create backups of your files and also perform differential data synchronization. In other words, the program detects the changes in files and folders which happened from the last backup and only adds missing data. It does not delete and rewrite the affected files.

Echosync is portable, so you can run the executable right away, but also easily store it on an external device and take it with you anywhere.

The interface was designed for simplicity: you cannot directly access its main functions, and the UI doesn’t feature a toolbar, buttons and other similar elements commonly found in application layouts.

After you click on the ‚New...’ button, only then you get options to select the profile name, source folder position, description and synchronization type. Furthermore, the application can save all the content stored on your computers hard drive to a VHD file, which you can load in a virtual machine at a later time.
