Rumpus: An efficient tool that lets you create a FTP server on your computer

Rumpus is a specialized utility that makes it extremely easy to create a FTP server on your computer which can be accessed via an FT client or a web browser.

With Rumpus it’s super easy to create your own file transfer server. After the tool finishes installing you need to setup the default account, the FTP Root folder and there’s also the option to enable the Web File Manager function that makes the FTP server accessible via a web browser.

Then, you can start and stop the server as needed from the app’s administration panel and from the same place you can connect to your FTP, add/remove accounts and tweak the app’s settings.

Rumpus provides several options when you attempt to access an FTP server created with the program, specifically a FTP client, a web browser, or from outside your local area network.

In order to access the files and folders contained by the FTP folder authentication will be require for which you need to use the credentials of the default account you created post-setup.
