SnipAway is a snippet management software that enables you to write, copy, and paste code snippets. These are simply portions of code that can be reused with little or no modifications.

The application provides the aforementioned capabilities for over 40 markup and programming languages, such as HTML, PHP, Java, JavaScript, Python, MySQL, C++, as well as plain text.

SnipAway is highly customizable both visually and functionally. The program includes over 35 editor themes with various backgrounds, text, and highlight colors. Regarding snippets, they can be sorted into colored folders with customizable names and added to a list of favorites.

While SnipAway's primary purpose is snippet management, it can also be used as a code editor having features such as syntax highlighting, autocomplete, and the ability to fold parts of the code.

The websites you are using for references and inspiration in your projects can be added as web snippets and the included pages will be shown in the editor, just like a web browser would display them.
