Sysmon is a very nice monitor solution made to work only the Windows-native Command Prompt. The software's main goal is to help you monitor your system activity while capturing process activity and other information to the Windows event log.

Sysmon functions as a Windows service but also as a device driver, letting you track various system activities such as network connections, file creation times, process spawns and other useful information.

Running the program is pretty easy, just open Command Prompt, drag the .exe file in the window and run the " -i [-h [sha1|md5|sha256]] [-n]" command and hit Enter (spaces included).

As a conclusion, Sysmon is a complex yet very helpful CMD tool aimed towards the more experienced users.
