Tracker: Great analysis tool for calculating variables by retrieving data from movie clips and images.

Sine Tracker is a Java-based app that lets the users analyze a video or an image so it can determine various variables, it was designed to mostly be used in physics experiments to estimate the acceleration and velocity of an object.

It uses the Xuggle video engine to load the video files in order to analyze the details and will need to identify the frames from the movie that users need to analyze and specify the position of the tracked object.

Users will need to calibrate the scale of the video if they want to get accurate results, by specifying the length of a certain object, and they can also use the Line Profile function to measure the brightness of a certain images area of Point Mass, in order to describe the movement of the object (e.g. ball or car).

If they need to analyze the coordinates, users will need to use the Data Tool, which will provide them with additional measurements and statistics, where they can calculate the maximal, minimal, and mean value with the help of a few clicks.
