Wipe: A functional tool that lets you delete browsing history, cookies, cache and other temporary files stored in your computer

Wipe is a simple utility that lets you remove unnecessary data from your computer like browsing cookies, cache, history, temporary files and other activity tracks. The app can be set to automatically delete tracks and useless files. Alternatively you can enter its advanced cleaning mode where you can customize the settings to your liking.

As a result, Wipe lets you clear the autocomplete history in the open/save box, the clipboard, clean the Run MRU list and empty the Recycle Bin. It also enables you to delete temporary Internet files, the My Recent Documents list, the user assistant cache, remove the list of recent wallpapers and to clear the history of folders used for moving and copying files through Explorer.

The tool lets you get rid of many other traces from your computer such as manually typed addresses, the recovery cache, game statistics, the HTML help log, history records, saved logins and passwords and many more. Tracks from apps like Windows Media Player, Flash Player, Winamp, QuickTime, Registry Editor and others can be removed as well.

Wipe shows relevant information for each of the above mentioned areas, like registry entries, occupied space and total number of files. In the Settings menu you can set the deletion method which can be a standard delete or one pass anti-recovery. However, there are other useful options there like the possibility to add/remove items from a close list, access a task manager, password-lock the screen and set the app to run a tray agent on system startup among others.
