PassFab for Word: A friendly tool that lets you recover lost or forgotten password of Microsoft Word documents

Word Password Recovery is an easy to use application that helps you get back lost or forgotten passwords of Microsoft Word files, allowing you to work with various file formats like DOCX, DOC, DOT and DOCM.

It comes with a modern and straightforward layout that enables you to quickly load files through its file browser, although you can do them same using the tree view.

Batch processing support is provided, plus you can enable the attack methods used for password recovery like smart search, brute force and dictionary. Word Password Recovery also allows you to create a custom scheme and set the minimum and maximum length of the sequence.

The passwords are recovered to a cache list, and you can turn off this feature from the app’s Settings. From the same place you can set the program to automatically launch at system boot, enable logging, set its priority level and more.
