CompuCell3D is a reliable application that allows you to design and view complex 3D molecular models.The tool relies on the Glazier-Graner-Hogeweg algorithm to describe and model how single and multi-cell tissues, organs and organisms behave.
To create a simulation with CompuCell3D you will need to define the cells and their interactions in the app’s Model Editor. There, it’s possible to customize properties for the simulation elements. You will also need to the degree of variation and the amplitude of fluctuations.
Once you finish customizing everything you can press the Run button to start the simulation. Furthermore, the application supports C++ extensions and Python scripts, plus you can generate PIF files from the VTK outputs.
