Phoenix OS: Android-based operating system for your PC

Phoenix OS is an Android-based operating system that you can install on your PC, laptop or tablet. With Phoenix OS you can launch any Android application directly from your PC and run it without any problems. This comes in handy if you want to play Android games and you're tired of your small phone screen or if you want to be more competitive and need to use a keyboard and mouse.

Phoenix OS uses Octopus, its proprietary emulator, to use gamepads or any keyboard or mouse to play your favorite games on Android. Unlike Android emulators who run directly under Windows, Phoenix OS is a standalone operating system that needs to be installed alongside Windows.

There are however several hardware limitations when using Phoenix OS. Users with AMD processors cannot run the operating system, an Intel processor being the only requirement. The developers stated they will add AMD support in the near future, however, so stay tuned for that.

Since Phoenix OS is directly compared to its Windows-based counterparts, the only big advantage is that being its separate ecosystem, it runs way faster than any Android emulator on the market, is pretty much preferred by most Android gamers.
